LIFE’S RED LIGHT (or ‘Doomers’)

LIFE’S RED LIGHT (or ‘Doomers’) is an independent short film funded by the Canada Council for the Arts. The film centres on two high school seniors who challenge each other’s beliefs about the pace of life while stuck at a deserted red light in the middle of the night. The film made it’s premiere at the 2024 Alice Nella Citta festival, the youth-focused arm of the Rome Film Festival and went on to screen at festivals across Europe and North America.

The film won Best Cinematography at the 2025 AAIFF in Mexico City.
